Riddle

Hannah's homework of the week was to come up with a riddle about an animal. Morten & I look at eachother with big ??????? We have plenty of Swedish & Danish riddles but in English, none! Meanwhile, Hannah asks us what a riddle is...

Thank Godness for goggle but realise we are in for a challenge if a K1's homework requires us o seek out Google for assistance :-)

...whether homework for K1 level should require parents assistance is another tropic...

Last evening with the Gorman girls...

It's never fun when your friends move and especially not when it's to the other side of the world... Unfortunately, this happens quite often in environments like Singapore...

The girls got to have a last playdate with Rylie & Paige while their mummy Michelle dropped of their car and got organized For the looooong trip tomorrow to Toronto. They had a blast but play dates right before night time have its challenges...!

Good for me is that Michelle comes back in a few weeks so will have time for a Girls Night Out :-)

Language confusion

Many languages are circulating in My kids surroundings which sometime produce rather funny expressions and situations. Hannah has a tendency to speak swinglish with a Singapore accent... Lah... Im sure she'll grow out of it :)

Also writing is starting To have similar tendency as her speaking language, and I suppose the frequent question marks verify such ;-)

Astrid Lindgren performance

Swedish/Norwegian church had an Astrid Lindgren performance today, and the girls was part of the Karlsson på taket choir.

Karlsson, Emil and Ronia were represented in the show and we were very impressed by the performance - more future shows are welcome in the future :-)
