Hannah's best friend from Hong Kong visits!

Olivia and her parents Jana & Petr visit us all the way from Hong Kong! Was really great seeing them all again, and to see Hannah & Oli together. For sure, they remember one another and had a really good time.

We managed to spend time at the beach (even though we picked a spot with loads of irritating bugs...), play mini-golf, play 'kubb', play board games (yes, a lot of focus on games :)  ) and of course running around the the yard.

Bubbles was definitely a hit: the older girls blow bubbles and Matilde chased them, everyone excited and happy :)

Distinguished visit from Hong Kong / Höganäs!!

A 24 hr visit from Jenny and her girls, wonderful to see them again!! Last time was during our last week in Hong Kong, wow do we miss Hong Kong and the Fredlunds!! The only ones missing was of course Mr. Fredlund and Mr. Kalle, but they are left in Asia working...and the Hjorts!! (next time, we all gotta get together at some tropical isle between Hong Kong & Singapore!)

We managed to squeeze in plenty of activities despite the short visit: play in the yard, explore the nearby forrest, picnic at the beach, BBQ, run!! (my first run for the summer, thanks Jenny, you're my hero!), and wine & chocolate in the evening.

The kids definitely remembered eachother from Hong Kong (at least the older ones) and had a good time together. For sure, Nady & Sheryl enjoyed seeing one another after lack of friends in the summer house areas! They were chatting away all night, great to see :)

We expected the worse from our darlings the following morning but they surprised us and slept amazingly well - Matilde slept through the night, a first-timer this summer, and woke up at 7.30am!

♥ Sisters & cousins bonding ♥

A few days with only the Gerdner sisters and our four daughters. The weather showed itself from the brightest side and we had great quality time at the beach, at home, in the forest picking boysen berries...

Anie & Hannah started to treat eachother as sisters after a few days, and here, they want to do EVERYTHING together and have the same toys etc...

A neighbour invited us our to their little picturesque house with a pool, to the girls' excitement...until they realized the water was freeeezzzziiing and Hannah declared she wanted 'her' Singapore pool ;-)

A few last pics before Johanna & I got to relax at the balcony with the left-over of Swedish candy and happily sleeping princesses :-)

 

6 kids under the age of 5... yiehoo....!!..

Johanna's closest friend Anna and her two sons Olle & Frank join us for 4 days. The tempo was of course high with all the kids, and when the rain kept falling, we were not too excited... Then, the sun shows up and we all ran out jumping in the rain puddles :) Never thought Hannah would do such since she hates getting dirty but after some hesitation, she jumps and jumps and gets as dirty as could be!

 

We had several trips to the beach, sometimes with rain clothes, and sometimes without. Gotta admit we prefer the latter....duh! :)

 

Since Matilde is soon turning 1 years (July 16th) we had an early B-day party for her, were the focus was on the cake. All the kids were super excited (assume because they also got candy...) and Matilde was in heaven getting to eat a big piece of cake with her hands :-)
