Lina & Max visit from Sweden :-)

 

Lina & Max have been visiting for 4 days, it has been great spending some quality time together!! A lot of time was of course spent taking care of our babies, but when they all managed to fall asleep, we took one coach each and kicked back with Swedish candy and wine :-)

Lina is a great story teller and at least Hannah was listening with big ears and eyes!

 

The first day was raining but we went out anyway - gotta check out the surroundings! Second day was beautiful so beach time, pool time, and play in the yard.

Pancake picnic at the beach. Max introduced his favorite strawberries with wiped cream to Matilde and wow, was that a hit!! :-)

 

Have had a great long weekend with Mrs and young Mr Stenhagen and cross our fingers we will see then sooner rather than later in Singapore!!

 

Seems my daughters' roles are rather similar to
my little sister's and mine about 30 yrs ago... ;-)

Visiting a FARM!!

We have visited a near-by farm!! It was a former pig farm, and now, the farm only hosts a few cows, a couple of horses, dogs and a newborn kitten!

The girls really enjoyed the visit, and especially the tractor. Matilde got wild when lifted into the tractor :-)
Hannah was not to thrilled about the smell in the barn, she was holding her hand over the nose to the farmer's amusement :-)

 

Lots of play with grandma and great grandma at home and at the beach!!

 

 

Hannah was very excited to find 'daddys flag' at the beach,
and was very determined to bring it home to give to daddy :-)

Playdate with the Birkely princesses :-)

The Birkely princesses with mom Marie joined us for a full day at the sommer house with lots of play in the yard and at the beach, 'swimming' in the baby pool, BBQ, and some challenges to get the girls to take their mid-day nap.... Had a great day, and Hannah slept to 9.30am next day :-)

My mom and grandma are here for a week and it is of course great to see them again! We have been very lucky with the weather with blue skies and decent temperature being Denmark :-)

We have a lot of plants, bushes and trees by our house so Nady and I have spent hours and hours removing roots with saws, axes, spades, you name it!! Great workout and the kids are getting a larger playground, win/win situation :-)
