Batu Batu

Easter Holiday at Malaysian island Tengah - resort Batu Batu - a very very very good choice!!

It was an amazing island with crystal clear water, white beaches and lots of activities to do. We snorkeled, kayaked, swam, read books, slept by the pool :-) , and went for an adventurous hike around the island… might not have been the smartest choice considering the steep hills, slippery leafs, flip-flops… but we managed and the kids will most likely never go on another hike as long as they live…. :-)

Despite the hike incident, I would highly recommend Batu Batu to others, and especially to families with young kids due to its close proximity to Singapore (we managed door-door in 3.5 hrs), nice rooms with A/C, playroom, good and healthy kids food, friendly staff, and of course having a pool.

Frozen fever - when will it stop?!?

There's only one movie that's on The it-list among The 3-7 yr olds For The moment being (at least in Singapore) and that's Frozen.

Hannah was To write about her favourite thing in school today and The picture below is The result - some imagination needs to. E present as spelling is clearly done by a 5-year old :-)

Playdate watching Frozen - can't get better: kiddos glued to the TV, bribed with ice cream and princess outfits and da mummies?!? Drinking rose while gossiping :-) 

And yes, it was definitely worth taking a day off for this!!
