Matilde's having homework - seriously?!?

Matilde's class had their first homework of The year - To find a newspaper article To share With The class... So, first of all, i had to explain what a newspaper is, what are 'news', Find an article she can relate To (princess dresses on movie stars, sigh...!). 

Dropping her off at school, she asks me when she Will go To The princess party in thearticle.... 

Conclusion: homework finding news articles For 3-year olds that cannot read? Not working!!! If homework is To bring in your favorite book or Toy, it is age appropriate!!
