Summer 2014 - flashbacks

Somewhat 'homesick', looking through summer pics...

What a wonderful summer - more than 4 weeks together back in Scandinavia!! The weather showed itself from the best side; no rain for 4 weeks and we didn't have a single meal inside :-)

Most time was spent in our DK summer house with friends and families. Also managed to get some time in Skarhamn, Malmo, Horsens, and a boat trip on the Westcoast of Sweden.

Matilde's 4th Bday party - Singapore version :)

Matilde most have had the longest Bday celebration ever…. Parties every time we meet various family members this summer, and now, 1.5 month after her bday, she gets a party with her friends here in Singapore. Very jealous Hannah - and rather confused Matilde, who is 100% certain she has turned 5 today….! Next year, her bday party will be BEFORE the sumer holiday :-)

She had a nice party though, was happy to see all her friends, and they enjoyed pool time, cup cake making, games, goodie-bag-fishing-pond (fiskedamm) and cake. Only one meltdown during the 'pass the parcel' game (she didn't get the final gift…) - so Matilde firmly informed me that she will never ever play the stupid pass the parcel game again… Life is not fair… :-)

Thanks to all helping out celebrating Matilde for the past 1.5 months ;-)

Girly Bday party :-)

One of Hannahs classmates turned 5 and all The girls in Year 1 were invited - what an invasion of girls and pink and princesses :-)

Relaxing party though, and Morten & I are going out For dinner, leaving The sugar rushed kiddos at home... :-)

First day of the new school year

Hannah started 1st grade today, and Matilde started her last year of kindergarden.

Very proud of both of them managing to stay awake all day, despite returning from DK last evening. The evil mom thought it's better To keepoccupied To overcome the jetlag than staying at home all day...!

Batam SPA

Home alone, no kids/no hubby, what To do... SPA of course :-)

Lone and I decide To make a day trip to Tempat Senang SPA in Batam (no kids under 12 allowed, so wow was it a quiet and peaceful atmosphere!!)
Perfect choice - lunch and 3 treatments, and then back To Singapore on The rooftop of the ferry; lovely Sunday!

Can definitely recommend this!
