Phuket vacation with the Jeppesens

Our move to Singapore is getting closer and the movers packed up our things Fri 15th and we took off to Phuket with the Jeppesens the same night for 11 days relaxation (is that possible with two 2.5 year olds and a 9-month old?!??) in Phuket.

We had a great vacation; lots of pool-time, saw elephants, enjoyed the hotel's playroom, more pool-time... and the big adventure when the dads took off for Viking Cup in Bangkok for four days: tuktuk rides to Carrefour to buy pool toys!

We managed to get a foot massage while daddies were gone as well, thanks to the amazing massage ladies who acted as baby sitters and amused Hannah & Bertram with manicures :) We tried to get the ladies to come to our hotel for foot massage while kids where sleeping, but the hotel staff stopped them with the explaination: "No massage ladies in the room at night..."! Haha, never thought I'd be 'acused' for such a thing!! :-)

LOTS easier with take-outs compared with

Hannah loving the slide, preferably head-first!!

Bertram & Hannah on the slide - and of course they have to have some sibling rivalty included :-)
They really developed a 'love-hate' relationship during the trip, was really fun to see!

Farewell party / Matilde is "walking" :-)

We have had a great weekend with a fantastic farewell party with almost all of our friends in Hong Kong! THANK YOU to all of you, we are fortunate to have such wonderful friends and you will be truly missed by us..... Thank Godness it is only a 3.5 hr flight down to SG :)
Unfortunately, I only managed to get two pictures but that only proves we had a great time :)

Thomas, Morten, Anders, my dad Mans, Agneta, Mats, Ashley, Maria & Karina where the last people standing :)

Since my dad and Agneta were visiting, we did some sightseeing but mostly, we were hanging by the pool and at the beach!

Tuuut-tuuut train with the girls and Agneta,
definitely a hit!
My dad with millions of other visitors, not a
very good day to visit Ocean Park...

Us four :)

The perfect bath place :)

Matilde is very active little lady and her main interest for the moment being (except from biting me due to teething...) is to walk, walk, and walk... see the little video attached.

New York City

Business trip to New York and loads of shopping :)
The flight was a 15-hr direct flight, my gosh, that was something...!
Anyhow, had two days full of meetings and nice dinners with collegues and service providers. And yes, we managed to see a few famous persons... First morning could have started better however, as the fire alarm went off at 6am and several fire trucks appeared outside the hotel within minutes...

Back in Hong Kong, my dad! was surprising me at the gate. After 15 hrs, I didn't believe my eyes when he stood there, so happy surprise. I was supposed to meet up Agneta at her gate but her flight had engine issues so was 3 hrs delayed.

Weekend activities

Hannah's God parents Anders & Karina came over for dinner Friday night, and Hannah was of course over the moon of excitement :) Sara was happy to get some assistance with a super-active Hannah, so Karina took Hannah on a chic walk in the park....

Saturday, we had a farewell playdate for some of Hannah's closest friends. Had great fun, the kids played and the adults chatted away over coffee and cinnamon bun - and ran after kids of course... it is really sad that Hannah & Matilde won't get to continue playing with their friends they have grown up with, but I'm sure we get to see them again, maybe half-way between HK and Singapore... :-)
